Registration opening has been delayed to Nov 3 @ 6pm. In the meantime, 2027 Competition Guidelines are available
Thank you for bringing these to our attention! Mistakes happen and we appreciate your feedback in this form to let us know about errors. If it requires urgent correction, please e-mail rc3info@calgarycivicsymphony.ca
We will review all applications and confirm your registration. As this is a volunteer-run effort, this may take 1-2 weeks. Thank you for your patience! Please do not inquire about the status of your registration until at least 2 weeks have passed. Early inquiries will not receive a response.
Our competition guidelines are informed by our experience in running this competition for over 45 years. Each year, the RC3 Steering Committee reviews the competition and uses this information to recommend updates.
There are two ways for you to make your voice heard in this process:
Respond to competition feedback requests. Historically we have a low response rate, however, we read and consider every comment. These comments are actioned when deemed appropriate, and if resources are available.
You can express your interest in volunteering for the RC3 Steering Committee by e-mailing rc3info@calgarycivicsymphony.ca. Please include information about your background and qualifications so that we can consider you the next time a slot becomes available.
Please note that this competition is run entirely on community volunteers. We do not tolerate harassment to our valued team members and reserve the right not to respond to emails that are aggressive or accusatory in tone, and to end phone calls that become similarly inappropriate.
The RC3 Steering Committee advises the Competition Director on key decisions. Decisions are made by the Competition Director.

If you believe a decision was made using incorrect information and believe it warrants an appeal, please email rc3info@calgarycivicsymphony.ca.
Note that disagreeing with the decision is not a basis of appeal and that all applicants are responsible for the accuracy of information they provide. Final decisions rest with the Competition Director.
